Chernomortransneft’s employee wins occupational safety contest

Anastasia Ivantsova, Leading Occupational Health and Safety Specialist at Krasnodar Regional Oil Trunk Pipeline Directorate (ROTPD) affiliated with Chernomortransneft has won the Best Occupational Safety Specialist In Krasnodar Territory contest.

The contest was for the first time arranged by the Ministry of Labour and Social Development (ML & SD) of Krasnodar Territory together with the State Labour Inspectorate of Krasnodar Territory and The Krasnodar Regional Association of the Organisations of Trade Unions Union. Heads and specialists of occupational safety departments whose companies had ascended to top places in an annual contest  for the title of the Best Occupational Safety Entity In Krasnodar Territory for 2017 were invited to take part in the event.

Overall, the contest brought together 13 professionals from the Territory’s companies. Anna Leonova, head of ML & SD’s  labour directorate, led the contest’s committee. The contestants showed their knowledge of occupational safety rules and requirements. During a test, each participant replied to 90 questions on such topics as employees’ rights and responsibilities, guarantees and compensations in the pursuance of duties, industrial accidents investigation procedures, dedicated working conditions assessments and medical examinations.

Anastasia Ivantsova was recognised as the winner based on the test results. Apart from that, she made it to the next round of the Best Occupational Health and Safety Specialist in the Southern Federal District contest to be held in Rostov-on-Don on 25 May 2018.
